have you been out and ridden with that cover?

People have been saying that the bosch Kiox version falls off when riding properly offroad.

PRO make protective rubber covers for Shimano's much more attractive and well thought out E8000 display units if anyone is interested.
Not that they are really needed not being placed in a stupid position in the first place. ;)

It has a lip around the bottom edge and as BOTG indicates it's a tight fit. The shape of Yamaha controller's sides also means the cover is a stretch fit.

No way it can come off it was really difficult to get on.. even when warmed up. Its rock solid.

Its when it gets mud on screen it scratches it. So this case is perfect just which it was a little less white plastic.

In nearly two years of running Shimano displays I never once noticed a problem with mud scratching the face. But I also ran a front mudguard that whole time.
Are you wiping the display mid ride or something?
Oh.. Hold on. You're talking about the bosch display aren't you. The real problem is the bloody stupid design and positioning.
