Levo Gen 2 proper headset bearing grease to use?

I want to stay on top of my 2019 Levo that I just purchased used.... and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on the best grease to pack the head set bearings on my fox 150 mm forks ? Cheers, Ben

Any Lithium grease will do. These bearings are not subjected to high speed spinning! Waterproofing is useful though.

Thanks mike . When you say water proof would you suggest some marine grade bearing grease ?

right or wrong I used marine grease on mine, it what I used to do with my MX bike bearings, pack that stuff in a gives em just that bit more protection

Yep marine grease is fine. The only reason to use any special or specific type of grease is where there are seals that may be broken down by certain types of grease , where high temperatures require a grease that will not break down in those conditions, or where a grease is required but has to be very lightweight or low friction. On a bike a general purpose grease will suffice for virtually everything except the freehub ( lightweight /high slip grease needed) and suspension due to the type of seals used. Obviously for an emtb a waterproof grease is really helpful given that virtually nothing on a bike has very effective weather sealing. I use a general purpose lithium grease for everything except the freehub and for that I use DT Swiss grease, and suspension where I use SRAM butter.
