Problem fitting DT Swiss 370 XD ratchet FH on new DT 350 hybrid ratchet hub

looking for assistance with a free hub swap.

I ran it trouble swapping from microspline to Xd driver.

I read the new DT free hubs are interchangeable but I have found when I tighten up the axle the XD free hub binds up. I was thinking the collar is too short allowing the freehub to tighten up against the hub body. See pic

Collars on both hubs are the same length so couldn't compare different lengths.

Both hubs are newer ratchet type 148mm hubs.

I may be wrong but I believe the LN ratchets are for conversion of a pawl freehub on the 350 hub to a rachet system ( XD or microspline).

( pure conjecture but does LN stand for "long nose".....to take up the extra room required to fit the pawl system into the hub ring?)
If I am right you need a standard XD ratchet not a LN Ratchet
