Hi all,

My E161 arrived today and was immaculately packed. But picking up the rear, there's an audible clonking that I've traced to the seat stay pivots. Everything is tight, and I'm waiting to hear from Privateer on what to do. I can't really ride it with the play that I can feel. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

Turns out it was a loose lower shock bolt

You kinda just have to go round with your finger and thumb on every location that may move. Put the bike on it's wheels and sit on the rear wheel, then pull just below the seat post and lift, you'll feel the play, then work out which bit has the play and sort. Obviously if the bike is new it shouldn't massively be down to you to fix, but it can end up being a simple fix like a shock bolt, pivot bolt etc then get it done :)
