Hey there, new to this site. I have a 2019 Trek FS7, love it, however has anyone upgraded the front shock, if so type and model, and also any one upgraded their brakes on this model ? Can you just change over the Shimano Deore M6000 hydraulic disc with the Shimano MT520 4-piston hydraulic disc. Thanks in advance. Michael from Tasmania.

Upgrading the fork shouldn’t be a problem. Brakes too. If you end up swapping rotors make sure you have enough room in the rear to run your preferred rotor size otherwise the rotor will rub the inside of the chain stay.

Think this is the same bike I have (Powerfly FS7 plus 2019); which rear shock did you install?
Yep mine is an 19 FS 7 Plus. It originally came with a RS in the rear. I never really felt comfortable with it so I ordered a Fox float dpx2 205 x 60. I was going to have Fox restroke to a 130 (not sure if they just add a spacer for this), but it was sent to the shop as is before it was re-stroked. Should bring me close to 150mm rear travel. The travel now is a little more like the powerfly 7 lt from 2019.
