Power button pulsing

Had a little ride yesterday. Hosed the bike off and put it in the garage. As I was getting the charger out I noticed the led in the power button pulsing dimly every second or so.
Turned the power on and off a few times but it kept doing it.
Put it on charge where it charged normally and turned off. The light was now off.

Had a search but found nothing relating to this, any ideas?

Shimano Jam2 by the way.

I get a soft pulsing as turning on, also noticed a glow as roll back off wall mount when not turned on but not had anything after washing.

When the bike is off and I'm moving it about, if I drop the bike onto its rear tyre from a few inches then the power on button glows for a second, two at the most. I don't see this as a fault, more a sign that the contacts on the button are very close together and being jolted together.

Funnily enough mine did this exact thing this afternoon after I’d washed it, it was also momentarily flashing the hard wired in headlight I’ve got.

I put it on charge and it stopped and since fully charging it has stopped. It was 50% charged when I got back, so nota low battery warning of some sort, but it could be just water getting into the on/off button or the charge port socket.

I had that on mine to. After washing or rain. It seems to be that the on off Switch is not waterproof. After filling ist with WD40 it disapeared. Maybe check also the contact on the Motor wire. Sometimes there is some water in the connector.

Thanks for the suggestion. Where will I find the wire you mention?
