Lets just agree that only a fool would ride their bike through deep water. But for those of us silly enough to get caught out , is there anything we can do afterwards to minimise the gremlins ?
Hypothetically speaking, lets say a creek looked a LOT shallower than it was and by the time the knee pads were getting wet someone might have been feeling just a little stupid. Decades of dirt bike riding should have taught me that water without ripples can't be trusted....
There is already dielectric grease on every connection, the bike rode fine for the next hour and was well and truly dry by the time I got home. But past experience with my Giant and deep rivers has left me wishing the bike was still under warranty....
2018 giant full e pro with a 2020 pwx2 motor thanks to the last deep crossing....
