I'm only mechanicing. Although I have a full license I've never had anything other than an XL 185 honda trail bike.
I was in to motto Cross 80s. Not a road biker until I had a comeback 2005 bought a bike which i kept for a couple of years then sold . Then buy another two years later and sell two years later and so on. Too dangerous they were out in droves yesterday up Aviemore way some pretty dodgy riding a couple of them. Yes mechanicing is a much better idea.

Sunny intermezzo today, shorts & shirt on the Snails Trail.Just when you think it's getting drier it gets really wet. Rivers high up here just now. Speyside way bit open again it takes a fair battering in winter , lots of trees down . Been closed a couple months. New hope cranks 155mm , no pedal strikes today mum.

I did that once and burnt my foot.
Walked it many a time but never biked it though. Did you go up the single track ? I walked up Mulloch Clach A Bhlair last year and came down the track going up to Goath I fancy doing it that way .
