I had a sneaky day off work yesterday, loaded the bike in the van and went to pines. I did the red route twice then wondered off to have a look round, I ended up on Eakring road, lets just say the part I entered under a few bridges with burnt out stuff and fly tipping didn't feel to safe lol.
Is the off piste rides over this way or still within the park?

I sent you a message on conversations.

Maybe the only dry section of the trails in the Porthills here in Christchurch New Zealand? Beautiful day today and even nicer tomorrow so I'll head out again.

Had a spin round Aboyne, Masterblaster I think . Not used to routefinding at places I have never been before . Loads there I would need a guide. Managed Heartbreak Ridge as well only took one wrong turning. That's a cracker . I would love to go up the down if you know what I mean.

Finally got my arse into gear, loaded the bike onto the Buzzrack for its maiden journey..... Destination Lady Cannings

Would only have time for a few runs but ended up doing 2 of each as time was scarce today.

Blue Steel:

Cooking on gas:

Glad i got out and enjoyed the trails albeit expecting them to be longer but fun all the same.

Good to test the Buzz out too which went well except not being used to having a bike on the back so it was a bit distracting at times.

Mmmmm!!! looking at youtube videos.... i might have my trails mixed up due to a lad saying " this is CookingOnGas and that one is BlueSteel " was i told a load of BS

Do you have to stop at the summit and sing the song ( Rose of Allendale ) if you ride there .

What a day yesterday got to gym 6am, back out on bike for a quick spin (9miles) around heath common then back home. Fed myself relaxed for a few hours and went and done another 25.72 Miles (Personal Record). It’s was great to push in this weather on my old regular bike I would have done , in fact nothing I would not of gone out in this weather.

Your first pic..I'd be careful trying to ride that off piste ledge next to the canal ..I know its always better riding off-road in the vegetation but in this instance the path looks a better bet as a pedal strike would have disastrous consequences ..😉

Hope that was for a picture only. Knowing my luck it would fall in even doing that
