Another blast last night after work. Making use of the break in our glorious summer weather! ?

Did the route around Belmont, Cartridge Hill (reverse direction) and up across Darwen Moors (very wet and boggy!). Tried looking for a new route as trails shown on OS map but they just petered out. :( Click on pics for bigger versions.

Nice sunset, air was clear after all the rain and could see all the way to Lake District quite clearly...

Furness, South Cumbria.
Edit….typing error. It’s not a £1billion useless railway. It’s a £100billion useless railway. That’s £100,000,000,000. Ridiculous…. You could get 7 or 8 top of the range Levo’s for that.

You were looking straight towards my house in the far distance when you took the second picture.

Where ever
Etoni I don’t know if I love you or hate you. :ROFLMAO: Don’t take that the wrong way it’s only me joking. I just love your pics and am so envious of your ride outs. Fantastic scenery and great places. I hope one day I could get to ride some of those trails. Thanks for posting your pics and keep them coming.(y)

U.K.
@etoni I had to check with Google: according to the sign in your photo, that summit is just shy of 9000ft (2717m)… The tallest mountain in the U.K. — as I’m sure you know — is Ben Nevis at 1,345 metres (4,413 ft), less than half the height.
Thanks for sharing your expeditions ?
