Paddock type stands

Anyone on here used a motorcycle type "paddock" stand to prop the rear of their bike up off the ground for cleaning and simple maintenance by supporting the underside of the swing arm? Only asking as they seem cheap but would they be the right size width and height wise. If you have used one or if there's an ebike equivalent could you let me know the details please.
