Orbea Wild vs. Giant Trance X

Limited availability leaves me with a choice of a 2021 Giant Trance X e+ or the Orbea Wild if I want to eMTB this summer, but I would have to order them sight-unseen.

Knee issues are my primarily motivation and I've MTBed all my life and am coming from a 10 year-old old carbon 26er.

Most of my local trails can be wet/muddy and are really more x-country-ish, but I prefer an enduro style bike. Usually in between a medium and a large.

Any perspective on either of these bikes would be helpful.

well the trance has less travel, shorter, not as slack, higher bb so it would be better suited to more cross country style riding as you say you do

I have the wild Fs and 3 mates have had/have Giant trance/reign ebikes,Mines been almost faultless in the year we've all had ours,MY mates have had serious issues with the power switch,Plus all 3 have had the stock rear wheels fail.1 mates had his in shop 3 times for new bearings on the freehub,Other 2 had major issues and ended up with new wheel.....There is loads of known issues with the Giants and water ingress problems.....
