I plan on running coil on my Hydro when it arrives. I am already gonna have the Fox Factory 36 150/Float X upgrades but wanna beef it up a bit with a DHX2. I kinda like the idea of increasing the fork to 160 and trying the longer 216x63 rear shock. It'll be a large frame, but i'll be running a 650-700lb spring, but i'm unsure of whether the bigger coil will clear the bottom of the top tube. I run DX2's on my Rallon and Trek Rail and love the feel of a coil.....i run a factory Float X on my Spur which is pretty good too. I've seen a bunch of people long shocking the carbon Rise but not much on the new Hydro at least w/ heavier springs... Anyone out there have any real world experience with a coil on the hydro? Any spring clearance issues? If you do run a coil on your hydro, could you post a pic of the clearance of the spring on the underside of the top tube?
