I have been loading my land cruiser for a 4 month trip So I had a friend whos an expert MTB wrench throw the new XTR chain on for my this morning whilst I rewired the redarc dual battery system imn my rig, turns out the reason my chainring went hiroshima was because the 90 dollar XTR chain I had him "toss on" and I did point out the arrow on quik link apparently he installed chain backwards as the ethirteen and another

pointed out and clearly that can cause serious damage and it did. so Its not faulty parts but faulty ME, I should have never let anyone touch that bike thats now literally clocking 16K in receipts. yea I went there. fox dhx2 on rear fox 36grips up front all XTR carbon wheeels etc etc it added up. and when this went south this morning I was so f*&^ING mad I couldnt think of anything other than punchingsoemone. so again operaotr error and not defective parts.
