The only issue is actually getting a hold of one at the moment :(
Halfords is listed as stocking them but none in stock at the moment....

Did anyone notice that like 50 YouTube channels and articles were published on the same day about it? I guess they paid everyone with a channel to make a video and embargo them to the same launch day. I hate to be taken in by such marketing, but it looks good to me.

Yes I think the most effective strategy would be to have stock already available direct & through bike shops on launch day. Either way I prefer R&D over marketing and this looks innovative maybe even groundbreaking in the rarified air of bike tire punctures. They're shipping in a few weeks direct from Stan's.

Jeez, Genuine Innovations tire plugs cost seven dollars or eight dollars & have never failed to work for me. Already had on hand the larger size plugs for my truck and throw a few of them cut to a shorter length in the kit as well. They can be pushed in with the same applicator.
After using them for several years I have multiple extra small applicator screwdriver type tools for pushing the plug in so I simply pre-prepare two of them and slip them into a tiny plastic cylinder that used to be for carrying salt capsules and stick them in a pocket. Absolutely takes me five minutes max to be up and running again after sticking one of the plugs in and pumping the tire back up. Such an ingenious and hassle free repair that is just incredible.
Can't see spending $25 or more on a larger more bulky system that might only be slightly better.

I'm looking forward to understanding this.
Will be changing to tubes and using Tannus armour. No more sealant top ups and ongoing expenses, no more mess especially trail side, no more tyre plugs, reduced pressure loss over time, more sidewall support, no loss of air from sidewall cuts.
Just a few benefits, but there are more.

Tannus Armour looks really good too. Would be interesting to know weight comparison vs say tubeless with Cushcore.

What other benefits? Any drawbacks?
Cushcore is amazingly good...if Tannus is better that would be saying something and I would have to try them.

A report from a mate said they are better than any other insert he has tried including Cushcore. ?‍♂️
I have never run inserts because if a trail side repair is needed then it could get messy with them and sealant. Imagine a side wall cut that requires you to run a tube to get home. You would have a sealant soaked insert to take home with you. I suppose with the Tannus, if something went through the side wall and Tannus to puncture the tube. You could repair or replace the tube no mess, and rotate the Tannus to cover the cut sidewall.
Also you have the same benefit of running inserts.
