Newbie using Speedbox 3

Hey everyone, I just installed a speedbox 3 today (all by myself... *takes bow) and was wondering what people knew about switching it ON/OFF while riding? To save battery.

The Speedbox 3.0 is activated/deactivated with "walk" button or alternatively using the + & - buttons, this is all in the instructions which are quite comprehensive and also explain how to set a max speed.
