There’s a whole other language I’ve needed to learn since I purchased my first EMTB. New terms, slang, acronyms, parts, gear, styles, rules, bike types...the list is long.
After almost a year I think I’m still a newbie and I make those mistakes that prove I’m a newbie. “EMTB for Dumbies” was sold out but unless you ride with others it can be a slow process. I’ve had a few funny moments but I’ve seen a few too.
So I know were I fit in the pecking order and I must curb my exuberance when I see another EMTB...but man, am I having fun. Surely I’m not the only one?
