Retired 71 year old, got into e-bikes 2 years ago when I was no longer having fun negotiating Seattle’s hills on my manual bike but Ilstill wanted to get out and exercise. I got a rigid suspension commuter e-bike. It was a revelation not only because I could handle the hills, but also could get a good workout!
I decided early this year to look at e-MTBs to venture further afield (as well a having a suspension that would help with Seattle’s rough streets and potholes). After a lot of research and visit to local bike shops I decided to order a Specialized Turbo Tero 5.0 for its versatility and great control system.
Looking forward to participating in the forum here, sharing stories and asking questions. Thanks in advance!
