Hi All,
A 2017 Canyon Neuron Al (L) and a 2020 Polygon Siskiu D7 (S) make a great trail/commuting/general fun ebike combination for my wife and me in Pittsburgh. Each build uses a 52V 500Wh battery and a "750W" (1300W sustained) BBS02, though challenges were different for each. For the Canyon, the main challenge was needing a PF adapter and downsizing to a 1x drivechain. For the Polygon, the small size and chainstay clearance made every mm count, but a rear rack and some spacers did the trick (just). So far we've put ~500 miles on each bike, and loving every moment together, even the 1 mi 10% grade to get back home at night! (Which is the least steep option we have!)
Basically I'm starting the search for the N+1 build. I'd love honestly to find something with an in-frame battery with a standard acoustic bb so I can throw another workhorse BBS02 or cyc motor on it. I don't need tons of battery capacity because I bike myself on the flats, but I also don't think I would like less than 1000W sustained on our big long hills.
