Hey all. New to the forums but have been riding MTB since the mid 90's so I've seen most things come and go. I ride and have ridden everything from XC to DH, and i'm always keen to service my own bikes/suspension/drive units. I'm an electrical service engineer by trade and have an in depth knowledge of how all aspects of how ebikes work. Although don't ask me about software, that's not my thing!

I've currently riding a radon slide 140 but need to swap it up soon. Probably going for either a Rail or an Ekano. I've built several DIY ebikes for myself and friends for commuting. Including making my own battery packs.

I'm here to lurk in the background ?

Welcome! The Ekano is a sweet looking bike, don't think I've ever seen a Propain in the wild down here in the antipodes.

The Ekano is a lovely bike, a friend has the 165 and adores the thing. Personally I'd prefer the gen 4 bosch of the trek, but it certainly wouldn't stop me buying one. Hopefully the new Ekano specs in September will include the bigger Shimano battery and a Zeb option.
