I've been riding road motorbikes for the last 15 years, not really ridden my mtb much as it always felt strange after a motorbike and preferred to be out on motorbike.
Sold motorbike last year, got back into mtb after zwift-ing during lockdown, So a E-Mtb sounds like a good fit for fun and still having a motor.
I live very close to Cannock Chase forest, so been going there a lot. My bike is 17yo GT with about 20mm front sus travel and vbrakes, gears not great and pedals sometimes lock when changing big cog lol. I've smacked pedals or cog on roots quite a bit, not much clearance. So would def benefit from something more modern and less knackered.
Forum looks like a great resource, a lot to get my head around in terms of modern bike tech/geometry and the e-bike specific stuff too.
