Hi, I'm Ron, new to the forum, have had the e160 for a while.... great bike, I love it.

Saw the thread on BB lateral play and creaking, so I know I'm not the only one with that issue.
Has anyone here resolved it yet?
Does anyone have photos of an open Shimano motor on the drive chain side? (I've seen the post with the other side)
Has anyone swapped or cleaned the bearings?
Please let me know..

This is the side I've seen . I haven't seen any photos from the other side.
The creaking comes from the bearing on the other side, when the right side crank is under load.
And on another note, it's surprising that the greased up cogs and the delicate electronics are in the same compartment like that...I would expect the grease to fly around and muck up everything....I guess the cover does a better job of separating the parts than it seems..
