New to the forum, Specialized Levo SL short seat tube and droppers?

Hey Everybody, pretty new to the Emtb world been riding for 22 years on self powered mountain bikes. Loving the ability to ride and climb for so much longer without killing myself! Cool forum.

I have a Specialized Levo SL carbon expert build (2021). I’m 5’7” but wanted a longer dropper. Anybody have issues finding the sweet spot for dropper length given the short seat tube? My build came with a 150mm Xfusion maniac which was fine but it was sticking. Now I’m on a 160mm bike yolk 34.9 post which is amazing. I tried the 185mm bike yolk revive dropper but my measurements we’re great and it doesn’t get me low enough. (It has 2 rides if anybody is looking for a post) not sure if it’s cool to post “for sale” stuff here so please lmk. Looking forward to being on the forum. Cheers Neil

Hi @Lithium21 I’m on exactly the same bike as you in a size medium, at 5’8 I have a AXS reverb 170mm 31.6 with shim works perfect for me.

cool thanks for the response! I could use the 185 but couldn't get as low as I wanted. I have 2 extra dropperers right now ...so I'll have to wait a bit to go for the AXS Reverb 170 - with what I spent I could have bought that already .... man that would have made the cable routing nightmare go away.
