Hi I am new to EMTB Forums & new to Ebikes having only bought in July 2020. I have a Merida eOne sixty 2020.
After riding over 600 miles in 3 months the range in eco when fully charged has reduced from 62 miles down to 55 miles which is an 11.2% reduction.
Has anyone had the same thing happen to there ebike?

Is that the range your getting or the range it estimates ?

If its the range your getting, you might find your riding has changed and you're on the power more.

If it's the estimated range, I wouldn't worry about it, the estimated range is calculated on various random factors and shouldn't be overly depended on.

Your battery capacity may have dropped off. There is a thread about Shimano battery life :

You can check the actual capacity of the battery with something like stunlocker.

Yes it is the estimated range when charged. Every charge from new to 3 months old the range in eco stated 62 miles but for last 5 weeks after a charge it says 55 miles in eco

My estimated range on a 378Whr battery on Eco started off at 44m on start up. Over time it has varied down to 38m and back up to 43m, holding steady at 41m currently. I have no idea what the actual range variation is because I seldom do the same trail twice while feeling as gung-ho (or knackered) as the last time. As Zimmer says, don't worry about it.
