New rider, need tools advice.

I've just ordered my first emtb, a focus Thron2 6.8 eqp. Can anyone give me some advice on what tools I'm going to need to perform basic maintenance on it?

Get Allen keys for all the sizes you need, should only be 3 or 4 and a good Torque wrench to start, then get as you need. Thats what I did.

Good quality multi-tool that has all the hex and torx sizes on your bike plus a chain breaker. Buy good, buy once. Carry this when you ride.
Floor Pump (with booster if going tubeless).
Trail (mini) pump for when you ride.
Shock pump.
Chain lube.
Bike safe grease.
Cheap floor stand for washing and working on your bike.
spare tubes and patch kit if using tubes.
sealant, plug kit and tyre boot if going tubeless.
quick links to suit your chain.

If you get interested in doing your own maintenence then you can add more substantial tools at home...

dedicated set of metric allen keys
dedicated set of torx spanners.
cassette tool.
torque wrench set (small)
Chain breaker.
Quick link pliers.

That'll keep you one the trail 90% of the time.
