Hi all. New here, and new to ebikes. Last of my mates to get one and can't wait to head out on it. I'm getting on now, 48 next month so thought why not. I got a Mondraker Level R today and it looks so nice in the flesh, but damn she's a hefty bike:D. I ride mainly at the Golfie, but occasionally at Glentress and Inners, with the odd Hamsterley trip. Can't wait to take it on it's first run out next weekend!

"Getting on a bit at 48"?

That makes you a young un on here! 😂

There's active riders on here nearly twice your age. Also I think the average age of members is in their 50s. Us older folk often need an eeb to overcome some physical wear issues, you know, knackered knees, hips, backs, etc.

The analogy I like is comparing all the mobility scooters parked at my local Weatherspoons to our group up in the hills on our ebikes 😂😂
