New Owner Carbon Comp

Been looking on the forum for as while now so decided to create an account and start posting.

Bought my Carbon Comp 2019 model last month, amazing bike so far. Living in South Wales so been trying to get out when we get a break in the clouds.

Noticed I got quite a lot of travel in my front brake lever, is this common the Guides? Hoping just a simple bleed will fix it.

im sure ive been past them windmills on my KTM... also, following cos im getting a Levo and hate excessive brake travel

These work great, I upgraded my RE to RSC and they still had some slack.

I didn't get on with Deslackinators. They came in grey (website has them in black) so looked weird and as the brakes heated up they started binding as there was no slack..

It's a great idea but I couldn't get on with them..

Must be a pretty common issue with the SRAM brakes then if someones tried to engineer a solution

The windmills are between Llantrisant and Tonyrefail, South Wales

The Guides definitely need to be bled. In addition, adjust the lever position out, farther from the bar. I like the feel and performance once the above was done. 1000 miles and brake pads still look great.
