I've been collecting my Old Age Pension (UK style) for about 6 years now, so I'm cracking on a bit. Been into MTBs since 2000 but always a biker (and off-road racer) before that. I watched Rob's 'Tube review of this bike a few days ago then immediately started the trawl through Googledom until I found one in stock 200 miles from home. I went there yesterday and bought it. Haven't had the chance to ride it yet, just had time to swap the tubes for Stan's Race fluid. It sure is a heavy beast compared to my elderly Treks! But it looks beautiful and if this rain stops I'll see if I can ride the thing. (I'm in North East England).
