There are lots of off-piste trails at Pines, no need to stick to just the red and blue. Then if you cross the old railway line there is the National Coal Board land (they don't look after the land and don't care who uses it). But be careful, you could be there a long time before anybody finds your unconscious body!

I will be going down the back of toray and along the trail to vicars pond to get there
