Hi all

Been riding for years, current bike is a 2004 Santa Cruz Heckler built for Chicksands hooning back when freeride was king :)

Had a hiatus when my kids were born but 10 years later, getting back into it and realised I needed an ebike in my life. Looked at Specialized, Giant etc but decided on the Whyte E150 RS after a couple of demos at Bedgebury.

Currently in the dining room having invisiframe applied but planning on a couple of laps of Bedgebury at the weekend :)

First proper run at Bedgebury today, 2 crashes, 3 distinct injuries, 4 pins gone from my V12 mags to pedal strikes. Damn thats a low bb.

After the first off, thought there was something wrong with the motor, sounded like a bag of nuts and bolts but ended up being the mech catching on the cassette.

Great bike, lovely fork. Need to bed the brakes in a bit more, far more inertia than my old Heckler...

It’s a very low BB, but so far only had my heel touch the ground. But it’s a great bike. Rode mine for the first time today, but only have the S version. But I bloody love it.
