Hey all,

Just introducing myself on here. I am a Trek Rail 7 owner (and caretaker for my wife's Rail 5 which is pretty much a Rail 7 through donation of my old 7 parts).

We are living the dream out in Switzerland which gives us ample opportunity to drain those big batteries and get those big brakes up to temperature.

I have been lurking around the forum a bit over the past year and a bit as I made the irreversible transition to E-life. Thought it was about time to join (especially as im in the market for a new ride and could use a bit of info ;) )

Looking forward to getting involved in some discussions and having a few heads to bounce ideas off.

See you out there!

where in Switzerland are u , I ride there every year love the place
Hi,

I am in canton Bern but right at the edge near Lucerne. Closest large town is Huttwil. Coincidentally that is where Flyer Bikes are based.

It sure is an amazing place to ride. Verbier is one of my favorite spots but Laax/Flims is a close second. Lots of places that I need to explore yet. E-bikes are a perfect companion for this place.

Where do you usually ride over here?

The whole Sion valley is epic. There are loads of places that I have yet to ride over there. We only just moved to Bern and were previously in Canton Vaud. Leysin was pretty much on our doorstep so we used to ride there a lot as it was convenient and its a cool little place that doesnt get too much attention. Pre Covid, Chamonix was pretty close and Metabief was about 45 mins away so we spent a lot of time in France too.

I have not done the Stockapler. Not Sure if I have done the Pierre Avoi. I tend to be mostly riding the Enduro trails and Bike park in Verbier and to be honest I really suck at remembering trail names. I just file the routes in my Garmin using my own naming convention. 'Awesome fast flow trail', Crazy steep, killer roots in the wet' etc.
