Cranksets - E-Bike Crank
I have always ride 175 cranks, DH and trail and I get way more pedal strikes on my 165 emtb. Think is cause you pedal at stuff and places you don't normally pedal at with smtb.Just ordered a pair from Leisure Lakes.
I do wonder why everyone wants short cranks on E bikes I have always ran 175 on my MTB's. Is the BB lower so more likely so suffer pedal strikes or is it just a lack of skills, length of leg?
I have far mode pedal strike with 165 that I did with 175 on my analogue bike - even though the pedal to ground distance is almost identical at 140mm. The reason is I believe due to the eMTB being heavier and not carrying momentum as easily. With the analogue bike I could bunny-hop or huck over roots and rocks even on a climb but with the ebike I have to keep a much more consistent pedal cadence.Just ordered a pair from Leisure Lakes.
