Greetings all. Recently, after fixing up my long ignored 1997 Specialized full suspension Stumpjumper I discovered that my 75 yr old legs have a much harder time climbing steep trails these days. So a couple of weeks ago I bought a Trek Fuel EXe alloy and am loving it. It's the only ebike I've ever ridden so I have no basis to compare, but the bike is everything I hoped it would be. And I've found this forum to be a great resource.

You’re not far from some spectacular riding in the Sierra Nevada from Auburn to Lake Tahoe. The Fuel EXe will be a lot of fun at higher elevations once the snow melts. Here’s Mrs levity on her EXe this June starting out on the Emigrant Trail just north of Truckee.
