New ebiker in BC

Hello everyone. I’m Steve and just purchased my first emtb. Took one for a test blast a couple weeks ago when Rocky Mountain brought demo bikes through the region for test rides.

Looking forward to getting out and learning on here as well as providing any info/ideas I may have.

Almost ready to hit the trail. A couple more days…

Not really sure about Malahat/Goldstream area. Well I guess part of the TransCanada Trail kind of goes through there but haven’t ridden it. Yet. Lots of other trails within 10-15 minutes of where I am so lots of ebike exploring to do! My bad knees pushed me towards this latest purchase and so far so good!

Too many Swiftsure parties and a missed race opportunity one year. . Raced the inside passage instead …ah, the good-ole-days. Gale-force on the inside passage…crazy fun. Raced out of Comox for several years.
