New E-180S Owner Question

Hi all, I've just become the proud owner of an E-180S. Previously had a YT Decoy and I'm just getting used to the mechanical differences between the two bikes. A question I had, on this 2023 model E-180S; there are two small hex bolts on the underside of the downtube quite close to the headset of the frame. I'm not sure what they are for, does anyone have an idea? I thought either they may be holding something in place which is inside the downtube (maybe the connector for the battery) or might be there for mounting a kind of old-school style frame mounted mud guard. They're quite close together, probably both bolts are within half an inch of one another.

Cheers

On my 21 model the two bolts are at the bottom near the motor, one bolt holds the battery, the other the connector block, if yours is the newer model it may be the same in reverse, as the connector is at the top.

On a 2023 bike it is the Bosch rail system. The battery connector is at the top of the rail and those bolts fix the rail to the downtube.
