New chain

Going to be fitting new chain tomorrow, the new chain is already oiled. Will it need degreasing and fresh lube before I ride it, it’s the first time I’ve ever done this. Thanks ?

Nope, just ride it.

Makes sure that you fit the correct number of links; don't just add the whole chain.
