It’s for you brakes I believe, spacer when you need to bleed themI put it together last night and going to take it out as soon as I get back home. After a few rides I’m sure I’ll have a few scratches on it but it’s still disappointing to see the new bike has them already.
There is one thing I can’t work out. What is this piece of plastic for?

Yer know, I wondered if that was it…it was in the battery bag which was zipped up.Thats a brake pad spacer
Thanks for the insight! That makes sense. They had put a piece of cardboard between the front brakes and held in place with some masking tape!Your bike is usually shipped with two of these. Ask your LBS for the other.
If you remove your wheels for transport or maintenance work …install them. You’ll be happy you did.

Hey! That’s a pretty good bodge for a temporary brake spacer. I’ve collected a few different brands but your LBS may have a few extra ones laying around.…for FREE!!!Thanks for the insight! And I just found a piece of cardboard between that says “Complete Tubeless System - retailer installs sealant” - there is no sealant that this would be attached to. I guess it was used before (by the “previously undisclosed owner” or their LBS who built it for them… I’m guessing. There’s too much here for this to actually be “new” lol
I have several different thickness spacers which I use to adjust brake lever 'free pull' as the pads wear. Yeah, I'm fussy.Hey! That’s a pretty good bodge for a temporary brake spacer. I’ve collected a few different brands but your LBS may have a few extra ones laying around.…for FREE!!!
It’s good to have a friend with a 3D printer, who knows what they’re doing.I have several different thickness spacers which I use to adjust brake lever 'free pull' as the pads wear. Yeah, I'm fussy.
