Hi all.

I'm really enjoying commuting on my e160. It's a 48km round trip. At 52 years old I'm loosing weight, getting stronger and enjoying cycling much more than I did 20 years ago.

I've been using a small Deuter hydration backpack. It's been ok but too small to fit a full 1.5L water bladder, lunch & smoko and my work laptop.

The USWE HAJKER PRO 30L looks ok, but it is serious money.

I'm looking for recommendations please.

Thanks.

I just got a Deuter Trans Alpine 24 which would probably do what you want. The Deuter I 20 is also probably a good choice and it’s extremely cheap.

Personally, I would strongly recommend you get a dedicated sack for each specific application. I have an Osprey I use for lugging a laptop and presentation stuff around, I don’t recall the model precisely. I’ve another 6 or 7 Ospreys for other stuff :)
