So I changed the Purion for a Kiox today and I found a cable connected to the motor and the other end cabled tied to another cable.
Anyone knows what it might be? I'm thinking maybe to add on lights?

Yes mate that’s the pre installed light cable, I’ve just fitted a light to my rail, it has to be activated by the dealer though.

Where did you get the Kiox and where did you mount it?

Sorry Panos, what I'd found isn't what I thought it was. Have you tried a friendly Trek dealer? Get them to look on the Trek Dealer Portal, it should be on there. Cube do a handlebar mount that may offer better protection.

Cheers Dom. I will call them when they are open mate. No hurry really.
That mount looks good too though

@pgtips would you be able to tell me please how big a job to remove the purion? Do you have to remove both battery mounts or is the plug small enough you can sneak the cable out underneath? Not wanting a kiox just want to replace my purion which got banged up in a crash ?

I would take it to your Trek dealer or lbs as I would imagine warranty issues could arise if you messed with the motor or battery mounts.

Too late for that mate, I've already had the motor out several times, and I adjusted the battery mounts as per the RIB alignment pdf to make sure my battery didn't fly out while riding. If that's my warranty gone (which I strongly doubt) then so be it :D
