My old knees have finally got me an ebike

Coming up to the grand old age of 68 in a couple of months and my knees have finally convinced me that here in Cornwall (UK) the roller coasters that pass as roads around here have become too much for them so I have succumbed to an ebike after years of mountain biking on a human powered one. Loving it so far. Still using the same effort but am going much further for it and less crippling too.

Bought a Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro 625, I like it but the stock X-Fusion shockers are not the best.

After riding on an emtb for a month or so, I discovered that my knees were improving! The reduced peak stress enabled by the motor seemed to be allowing my knees to heal a bit (judging by the lack of pain the day after a ride). Three and a half years later they are still better than they were, and most importantly do not appear to be deteriorating. Osteo arthritis in the knees is still a one-way trip to replacement joints though. :(
Note: I bought my first emtb at 68 as well.
