So I though it would be a good idea to test the range on my bike, this will help me determine what battery to use for any upcoming rides.

Battery: 500wh
Rider weight : 87kg
eco 35/35 for 100% of the ride
91% battery used. (9%left)
Distance:56.6km
Climbing:796m
Ave speed : 20.8

Will try again with the 700wh battery

This looks like quite poor range to me, I have 700Wh battery, about same weight as you, eco only on flats, mostly in trail 35/100 and turbo 100/100 for steeper sections, and I get about 65km and 1500m of climbs...

I think I should get about 65-70 on my 700WH .... I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I'm happy with the range I got on the 500.

Also this course I did, there is not any where the bike can really free coast ... even the down sections you using the motor.

And 35/35 is plenty of support ... could even drop it down to get more range ....but why ... its fun where it is.

It looks like I am upcountry from you. I am about 88kg and with Eco at 25/35 I can do a 100km at an average of 23-24 km/h with 800m climbing. The accel response I found is one of the main culprits for draining the battery. Mine is at zero.

Is that on a 500 battery? if so, that is mighty impressive.
Ill do another test where I drop Eco to 25/35 and see
Another range test I want to try is 15/100

I weigh a bit more than you at 120kg, but do not get much less range in eco. However beware as the range drops dramatically in trail and real dramatically in Turbo. Same goes for climbing. i count on an easy 35mile range on a flat trail in eco, but with hills i will end up in Eco and only count on a bit more than 20 miles it there is alot of climbing.... yesterday, I ran a 15 mile ride with about 3 miles of steep climbing, the rest of the ride was half in Eco and half in Trail, finished the ride at 63% of battery left. 500watt battery
