Mudstop 3rd party seal

Just stumbled over this on YouTube. Looks good at first glance, maybe there is a reason bosch don't use them? Anyone any thoughts?

mmm.... not convinced- when that grease washes out the mudshield will be spinning against the motor body and will casue friction and rub finish off the motor also it could fill and hold water.

I think one would have to take it all off when you wash the bike to dry it out and reassemble.

This is like fitting a snorkel to a land rover and thinking you can cross a river it in.
