You can ride in the mud however it is a lot less fun and feels miserable covered in shit and a lot more work afterwards with all the cleaning, what a chore ?

Time to get the walking boots out as an alternative to riding on most days, just to avoid going through that tedious cleaning procedure every day. It's a God Damn chore ?

Absolute stinker of a month this has been - same can be said for much of the Summer as well.

Being covered in shit is grim but my E Bike rides tend to be 3 hours max on 700 Watt Hours so it's not for long.

In the end it all comes down to the fact that I cannot be arsed going through the loathsome cleaning procedure 7 times a week, after every ride.
