Motor Cover?

Finally, I've just pushed the button on my first e-mtb, I should get it tomorrow (but more on that once I get it). I travel down to southwest France quite regularly and have been thinking about transporting it. I already have an Atera towbar rack but that will be too small for my new purchase - a Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC SLX 750 - and have ordered a Buzz Rack.
Thinking about protecting the motor area I've been looking at possible protection and found one of these
FAHRER Protective cover for mid-engine

Anyone any experience of using one... or any other brand/version.

A bit naughty I know to bump my own thread but.... I'd really be interested to know whether anyone protects the motor area of their bikes if they carry them on a towbar bike rack behind their car. It's not something I'd be too worried about for short journeys but for longer distances (especially if the weather is likely to be a bit unpleasant?
The supplementary question to this is whether covers like the one I linked is found to be useful and worth using?
