Just collected this for a weeks demo from Rotec.

No reason other than next week we could really do with 2 Eebs for some riding we have planned and this was the easiest way to facilitate it.

However, it's a hell of a spec and i'm massively curious to try the AXS gears/seat as well.

rear mech battery is currently charging on the desk lol.

The M feels pretty long with 'forward geometry ' and at 6'0 I'm happy on it.
Only ridden around the close to size it up though currently.

I demoed one last month. I'm 6'0" and rode a Large, which felt great. The suppleness of the suspension blew my mind. Despite being a big travel bike it felt really easy to maneuver and was still loads of fun when the trail leveled out.

All that said, the XR had a few flaws IMHO. First and foremost the rattling clutch from the Bosch SX motor was annoying. Maybe not as bad as the Shimano EP8 on my Rise but still too loud. Also, the SX motor is capable of putting down pretty impressive power if you keep a high cadence. However power eats electrons and the bike only has a 400kwh battery. So despite riding most of the time in a low or mid power (aka no boost) mode, the battery crapped out sooner than I would have liked. Oh and the seat post insertion isn't great.

But man, that suspension and geo are amazing!
