Mondraker Crafty vs. Chaser

Dear friends, I'm trying to take a decision and I need your advise.
I am interested on an ebike for long XC routes basically. I never ride into difficult technical places, don't want to do enduro. My fitness condition is good, I ride around 6000km a year.

My doubt is , should I choose the Mondraker Chaser 29" or go for the Crafty 29", which is around 700€ more expensive (but the components are incredibly better)?

In my local shop they told me not to choose the Crafty 29" for xc routes, but I don't understand why. Is it much heavier? Is it the geometry?
Anyone knows both two bikes and could tell me the difference? I will appreciate it a lot.

similar geometry, better color scheme

I have the 650b wheel crafty and love it. What i would say is that i dont really think its an xc type feel. Its very long, heavy and a bit of a brute. I would look at the chaser, or maybe a levo if you want a more nimble, agile feel.

Yes the crafty is a full on beast mode enduro crusher of a bike

I want to try the Levo SL. It might be the best option
