I have a question which I am hopeful the Rise group can help me with.
Mid September, my buddies and I will be doing a 12 day mountain bike road trip across the United States from California to Bentonville Arkansas. Along the way, we will be stopping at various locations to ride, including Salida Colorado.
While in Salida, we plan to shuttle the Monarch Crest Trail, which is a 36 mile IMBA Epic ride.
Having never ridden the Monarch, I am uncertain if my Rise can cover the whole ride on just the internal battery and range extender. I can easily do 36 miles, however also factoring in the over 2,000 feet of elevation gain has me wondering.
I do have access to a second range extender which I could carry in my pack as a backup. I’d rather not carrying the brick if I can avoid it.
Has anybody shuttled the Monarch on their Rise via Monarch Pass, Silver Creek, Rainbow to Poncha Springs? If so, what was your battery situation?
Thanks
Rod
