Hi Everyone, I have just joined; I am new to the world of EMTBs but I have to say that I am loving it!
I have recently bought a Merida eONE-SIXTY 900E and it was immediately apparent to me that the computer was wrongly calibrated; the speedo and distance indicator were reading 30% high compared to GPS and the motor was cutting out at an actual speed of 11mph rather than 16mph.
I took it back to the retailer, who had to ask Merida to email permission to Shimano so that they could then remotely log into the bike’s computer to reset it. It appears it had been set to a much larger wheel size than 27.5 x 2.8.
I am just wondering if any other eONE-SIXTY owners have experienced the same problem or if mine was a one off issue?
Thinking back, the demonstrator I took for a test ride seemed to be reading very high as well.
Loving the bike, it’s just so capable!
