Jumped into the eWorld last week and so far I am absolutely stoked.
Initially took the beast for a shakedown road ride to get things how Iike them, then took it out on it's maiden trail ride yesterday.
Having come from a long-travel enduro bike with high-end components, I decided that I needed something at least as capable, so settled (after a lot of research) on the Merida eOne-Sixty 700.
Key components:
Shimano XT drivetrain
SLX 4-piston brakes
Marzocchi Z1 eMTB rated 160mm forks
Fox Float X rear shock (150mm travel)
Shimano EP6 motor (85Nm) - derestricted to 45km/h
OneUp Alu pedals
ODI Rogue grips
Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5 front tyre
Maxxis DHR II 27.5 x 2.6 rear tyre
