Maybe replace chainring or cassette

Hey folks,

I have Neuron:ON 5.0 2019 (previous year model)

During rides with 1000+ m climbing and tough climbs (gradient 20+) in Eco mode I noticed that I would really appreciate another cassette. 34x11-36 doesn't seem to be enough for me. Has anyone tried to replace it with something like 11-42 or even 11-46? Maybe replace front chainring from 34 to 30?

Another option would be to get another battery and just ride these uphills in Trail mode.

Would would you guys recommend?

Trail mode and two batteries is my choice for long rides with the spectralon.
My bike came with an 11-50 cassete but when it got worn I put a 11-36 and now only use eco on the flats or long low grade uphills.
Would not recomend a smaller chainring also.

Hi, thanks for the answer. That probably makes more sense since it is an EMTB :)
Do you carry 2nd battery in a backpack? It's quite heavy. With liquid, multitool and other stuff it is going to be already ~6kg
